ISUOG Basic Training Sub-Committee Member recruitment

ISUOG’s Basic Training Sub-Committee is recruiting an active and experienced member to contribute to the development of ISUOG’s state-of-the-art Basic Training modules to ensure that all scan providers gain an adequate education in the use of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology so as to be able to scan independently.

In 2025, ISUOG is recruiting for 1 member position to increase regional representation within the Sub-Committee and to actively contribute as set out in both the terms of reference and working plan.

To ensure balance amongst the Sub-Committee, our criteria (merit) for recruitment include:

  1. Extensive experience and an excellent understanding of research in ObGyn ultrasound education;
  2. Demonstrated teaching experience, especially with trainees and residents;
  3. Understanding of the training needs in LMIC countries or developing and emerging economies. 
  4. The ability to develop, assess and improve educational material to ensure the highest quality content at all times;
  5. Has an interest in ISUOG and its activities, with an interest in working with ISUOG office to develop its online presence, resources and tools;
  6. Is willing to spare time for meetings, for giving Basic Training courses in person or virtually, as well as for all the activities stated above.

  • return the requested recruitment documentation by the deadline (NB no extensions will be given and late submissions will not be accepted);
