It is our great pleasure to welcome you all to the vibrant city of Singapore for the 17th ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in O&G) Approved Course, Singapore in conjunction with the 9th Scientific Meeting of the COGS (College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists). The is the first fully face to face scientific meeting after a hiatus of 3 years due to the COVID pandemic and like many , we wish to resume and restore the in-person experience of attending a scientific congress. Building on the rapidly evolving key topical scientific issues discussed in the last virtual meeting in 2022, we have brought assembled leading experts to share important new advances.

We are thus very grateful to our invited international speakers, Professors Laurent Salomon (France), Yves Ville (France), Jonathan Hyett (Australia), Dario Paladini (Italy), Gustavo Malinger (Israel), Shih Jin Chung (Taiwan), Liona Poon (Hong Kong), Won Hye Sung (South Korea), Johanes J. Duvekot (Netherlands), G.Muniswaran (Malaysia) and Ixora Kamisan Atan (Malaysia) for generously finding time in their extremely busy schedules to accommodate this meeting  and sharing their expertise. This distinguished faculty and the line-up of interesting clinical cases will make for a truly stimulating meeting.

The meeting will be held over 3 days. Each session has a clinical theme , and begins with a plenary lecture given by our invited experts, followed immediately by talks and case discussions from the local faculty. Voting and polling facilities will be deployed to enable audience participation in the course of the case presentations, as well as time for questions and answers with an expert panel to ensure an interactive experience for all.  Furthermore, there will be ample opportunities for interaction with local and international experts with ultrasound demonstrations, small group “Meet the Professor” sessions and practical skill “hands -on “ultrasound workshops.

We are also very pleased to once again collaborate with the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology Singapore for this meeting. Given that many of our attendees are also general obstetrician gynaecology specialists, the joint scientific programme is noticeably diverse, going beyond presenting fetal medicine for maternal fetal specialists but also including generalists, and also embracing diverse but pertinent themes in peripartum medicine, gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology , reproductive medicine and gynaecology.

We encourage you to submit abstracts for poster presentations as this is an excellent platform to share your work. We are confident that the vibrant discussions, interactions while experiencing the culture and attractions of Singapore will make for a congenial and memorable meeting.

We thank our industry partners who have generously continued to support us in making this event possible. We look forward very much to seeing you in Singapore in November 2023!
