This course offers updates on the latest advancements in fetal examination, along with practical tips and tricks for your daily practice. This scientific program is dedicated to Ob&Gyn and feto-maternal medicine specialists interested in fetal ultrasound.
This onsite course is organized by EXTEMPORE. Join Prof. Rabih Chaoui and a panel of expert speakers on the 12th of October as they discuss various topics around fetal examination. This one-day course consists of two parts: the first trimester ultrasound from pregnancy detection to detailed ultrasound, also, in the context of NIPT and the second trimester ultrasound of the various organs from head to toe. The scientific program is approved by ISUOG with access to the recordings 30 days after the event has occured.
Learning Objectives:
- To improve knowledge of sonographers and fetal medicine specialists involved in prenatal diagnosis in performing basic and advanced ultrasound examinations during different stages of pregnancy
- To provide an advanced course in obstetric ultrasound for healthcare providers
- To demonstrate skillful scanning techniques for performing prenatal ultrasound using modern tools
- To give awareness in differentiation of normal fetal anatomy and the most common fetal anomalies and syndromic conditions in first and second trimesters
- To recognize typical ultrasound features and sentinel signs suggesting specific syndromic conditions.
The scientific program is approved by ISUOG and accredited by EACCME with 7.5 European CME credits, access to video records will be provided for 30 days.
