This an ISUOG approved course organised by Rīga Stradiņš University, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in collaboration with Latvian Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians.
This course is aimed to revise of maternal anatomy as it pertains to birth progress, as well as provide the information about the Pelvic floor ultrasound. The lectures:
- Will share an extensive knowledge on various ultrasound techniques used for pelvic floor examination;
- Will help to recognize the ultrasound anatomy of the pelvic floor;
- Will demonstrate the uses of 2D and 3D/4D ultrasound in the assessment of various pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic floor dysfunctions
- Will demonstrate possible therapeutic modalities in a case of pelvic dysfunction.
