By submitting your registration, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Cancellation of a registration must be communicated via email to [email protected] on or before 17 March 2021. Verbal changes or cancellation are not accepted. There will be a USD$60 administration charge applied to the registration fee which will be deducted at the time of refund. Membership fees are non-refundable. Please note that the refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time and requested in writing. Refunds will not be given for virtual no-shows. Any refunds outside our normal terms will only be reviewed and processed after the International Symposium. Cancellations after 17 March 2021 will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the registration fees.
By submitting your credit card, you are authorising ISUOG to charge your credit card the total amount due. In the event that the delegate has selected the incorrect registration fee, ISUOG reserves the right to change this after submission. Any outstanding balance will be notified to the delegate by email with a link to resubmit payment to settle any outstanding balance. ISUOG reserves the right to refuse access for incorrect payment of registration fees.
All best endeavours will be made to present the programme as publicised. However, ISUOG and its agents reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to the ISUOG International Symposium, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. ISUOG and its agents are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of alterations or cancellations. In the event of cancellation of the International Symposium, all pre-paid fees will be refunded in full.
Access to the online event:
In the event of internet or other telecommunications disruptions affecting the live transmission of the International Symposium, delegates will have the opportunity to watch the recorded sessions on-demand, by accessing the International Symposium online event platform until 17 May 2021 (23:59 MDT). No refunds will be given in such cases. ISUOG is not liable or responsible for any delay, disruption or disturbance in the operation of the internet or problems caused by your internet service provider or for any telecommunications failures which are beyond our control. Access to the online content may be temporarily unavailable during the International Symposium for updates and critical maintenance of the virtual platform and systems to ensure optimal user experience. These times will be kept to a minimum.
Personal data collected by ISUOG during the registration process is used to fulfil delegate attendance at the International Symposium and for delegates who qualify for ISUOG membership to fulfil their membership. ISUOG will use the contact information collected leading up to the International Symposium to notify delegates of International Symposium-related activities.
Sharing your personal data with exhibitors and sponsors:

By attending a virtual event and logging into ISUOGs selected virtual platform your name, job title, organisation and other details you choose to populate your event profile with, e.g. profile picture, will be visible to all attendees including sponsors and exhibitors. Your contact details (email address, telephone number and postal address) remain hidden.

During the virtual event whilst using the virtual platform, if you
your click action to automatically gives your consent and the personal data you provided to us (full name, country and residence and email address) will be shared with the sponsor or exhibitor, and sponsors or exhibitors may be in contact with you about their products and services outside of the virtual platform. You also agree that where relevant, these parties may transfer your data outside of the EEA for these purposes and you consent to such a transfer.

You can revoke any consent you have given under this policy at any time by informing the exhibitor or sponsor when connecting with them.

During the event, screenshots of the event may be taken to be used for communication and promotional purposes on the website, social media and other marketing and communications channels.

Photographs and videos:
ISUOG will take virtual screenshots and videos during all virtual activities and sessions during the International Symposium. By participating in the International Symposium and/or other activities, you grant ISUOG the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes including, but not limited to, posting or publishing on news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including International Symposium and ISUOG websites. All pictures become the property of International Symposium. Pictures may be displayed, distributed and used by International Symposium for any purpose.
Participant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ISUOG, its officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, fees, charges, liabilities of any nature, which ISUOG, its officers, directors, employees and agents may incur that arise out of the negligence, gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the participant.
Participant and ISUOG agree that these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Participant and ISUOG further agree that all disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be finally settled under British law.
All delegates registering for the International Symposium will receive a confirmation email once the registration team has checked their registration is correct. This email contains:
• pdf attached with a summary of their booking
• A link to download the invoice which reflects the activities and financial implications
The text of the email can be edited at any point in time so that promotion of relevant information can be included at any point during the process.
