Dr. Sándor Nagy is specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Clinical Genetics. He is the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Petz Aladár University Teaching Hospital and Dean of Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences at Széchenyi István University of Győr, Hungary.
His special interests are Ultrasound imaging technologies and fetal MRI, Fetal neurosonography, Perinatology, Education and training in ultrasonography. Sándor completed a PhD in Clinical Medicine (Semmelweis University – Budapest), applied to Clinical significance of subchorionic hematomas in the first trimester of pregnancy. As a perinatology fellow he’s spent a year at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NewYork, NY 2001-2002. Sándor is a director of a Master Degree for Sonographers in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Széchenyi University.
He is the President of the Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (HSUOG) and General Secretariat of the Hungarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. and Vice President of the Hungarian Society of Perinatology. Involved in many committees and task forces of national societies. Sándor also serves on a regular basis as an expert for the Hungarian Health Authority as well as for international research projects. He is also acting as President of OB/GYN Department of Medical College (Ministry of Home Affairs).

Nándor Ács graduated from Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest, Hungary in 1992. He is an Ob/Gyn specialist with board examinations in obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, and clinical pharmacology. He is full professor and Head of the Ob/Gyn Department of the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University, as well as CMO at the Femmed Institute for aesthetic gynecology in Budapest. Prof. Acs also holds a Ph.D. degree and an MBA in health economics. He has organized several national and international congresses and teaching courses and has published more than 470 papers with around 2500 citations. He is a member of several eminent medical societies and organizations.

Dr. Zsófia Benkő is an assistant professor and a fetal medicine specialist at the Semmelweis University of Budapest. After her training of obstetrics and gynaecology she was a fellow of the Fetal Medicine Foundation and was trained by Professor Kypros Nicolaides. She did her PhD on Screening for preeclampsia in twin pregnancies and her scientific interests are the complications of twin pregnancies and managing pregnancies fetal abnormalities. She is the head of the Fetal Medicine task force of the University which is aiming to start doing intrauterine fetal therapy in Budapest. Currently she is doing a second subspecialty in clinical genetics.

Dr Bozsa works as a specialist at the Department of Gynecology, Hospital St. John of God, Vienna, Austria and Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynacology, Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, Széchenyi István University, Győr, Hungary.
He graduated in medicine in 2002 and was awarded a PhD in 2011 on the possible applications of 3D ultrasound-volumetrics in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Pécs Medical School, Pécs, Hungary. Dr Bozsa moved to Austria in 2014 and works at the Hospital St. John of God, Vienna. In 2020, he joined the Széchenyi István University of Győr, where he is involved in the teaching of sonographer students.
His special interest include gynecological ultrasound imaging and diagnostic, minimal-invasiv and robotic surgery, gynecological cancer surgery and teaching gynecological ultrasound diagnostic to sonographer students. His clinical research focuses on the diagnosis of endometrial, myometrial and ovarial pathology, fibroms, and endometriosis.

Csaba Demendi graduated from Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest, Hungary in 1998. He is specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology (2003), and Clinical Genetics (2011).
Since graduation, he has been working at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Semmelweis University, currently in the position of university assistant professor. Since 2008, he has been the head of several departments of the clinic, mainly in the field of obstetrics. He has been performing ultrasound diagnostics for more than 20 years. Since 2014 he is also the head of the Ultrasound Unit of the clinic. He did his PhD on genetic background of preterm birth in 2011. His clinical research focuses on the prevention of preterm birth and management of pregnancy complications. He is dedicated to ultrasound education for sonographers and residents.

Dr Balazs Erdodi is working as an assistant lecturer and ob/gyn specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Debrecen, Hungray. He received his medical degree from University of Debrecen in 2009. His special interests are imaging technologies with special focus on adnexal masses and pelvic ultrasonography including the pelvic floor and DIE. His PhD is in progress in the field of ultrasonography of the adnexal lesions. His main research areas are gynecologic ultrasound and urogynecology.
He is the treasurer of the Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2019. He is in charge of being an academic advisor for medical students at the University of Debrecen. He has organized a couple of courses in Hungary including the National Congress of the Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an IOTA training course at Budapest in 2018.
He has been participating in nearly all ISUOG Congresses since 2010 and held a few presentations of which he was also awarded for.

Attila Jakab is currently working as a full professor and deputy chief at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Debrecen. He received his MD from the University of Debrecen in 1989, he is specialist in Ob/gyn and Endocrinology. From 2001 to 2002, he was a post-doctor at Yale University. His research areas include reproductive endocrinology, sperm physiology, gynecologic ultrasound; early pregnancy ultrasound. He has good competencies in endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic ultrasound. He is the Secretary General of The Hungarian Society of Ultrasound and Gynecology since 2019, Past President of the Hungarian Menopause Society (HMS) and president of the Hungarian Society of Gynecologic Endocrinology. He organized an advanced gynecologic ultrasound and IOTA training course at Budapest in 2018. He wrote two books, 32 book chapters and has 62 papers (IF 81, Hirsch-index 18).

Dr Gergő Leipold completed his medical studies at Semmelweis University, Budapest. Throughout his years as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology fetal diagnosis turned out to be his main field of interest. He became research fellow at Harris Birthright Research Centre, completed his fellowship in Fetal Medicine with Prof. Nicolaides and received his Diploma in Fetal Medicine in 2018. After returning home he completed his training and became a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021. Dr Leipold is currently working as consultant at Semmelweis University, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His main focus remains fetal diagnosis, management of pregnancies complicated by fetal abnormalities, fetal growth restriction, twin pregnancies and fetal therapy. He is a regular speaker of local training sessions in fetal ultrasound, member of the Hungarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Gábor Szabó is an advanced gynecologic sonologist and surgeon. He is a senior lecturer and head of the Ultrasound Unit in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Semmelweis University, Budapest. Gábor completed his PhD in Medicine in 2013. His special interest is transvaginal ultrasound and other imaging modalities in gynecologic diseases especially in endometriosis. He introduced a new field of gynecologic ultrasonography called pelveoneurosonography, the ultrasound examination of the pelvic nerves.
He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and currently member of on-going research projects in the fields of deep endometriosis, myometrial lesions and use of ultrasound to improve diagnosis of ovarian masses in pregnant patients. He is leading a research program in the learning curve of the visulaization of sacral plexus and contributing to international research studies, IDEA, MUSA and P-IOTA. Gabor is supervisor of PhD students at the Semmelweis University. He is reviewer in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is member of the ISUOG Education Committee, Online Education Sub-Committee and the AI Special Interest Group. Gábor is secretary of the Hungarian Fetal Medicine Society.

Dr. Olga Török, PhD, med.habil., is employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Debrecen and the Head of the Division of Perinatology of the Department. After completion of her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology she also specialised in clinical genetics. She defended her PhD thesis on the evaluation of the effectiveness of genetic counselling and her habilitation thesis on prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic tests.
She has participated in several international postgraduate training courses and short-term study tours in different European countries. In 1996 she was awarded a one-year research fellowship program at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York. She has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been elected to be the Board Member of different Hungarian Scientific and Professional Societies. Her research interest recently has partially changed focusing also on the prevention of severe pregnancy pathologies.

Dr. Sándor Valent, born in 1967, is a distinguished medical professional with an extensive career in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, Dr. Valent has been actively contributing to the advancement of women's healthcare.
His journey in the medical field began in 1986 when after finishing high school, he began his medical education at the Medical University of Debrecen, Hungary, earning his M.D. with honors in 1992. Driven by a passion for obstetrics and gynecology, he joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Semmelweis University as a resident, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience from 1992 to 1997.
Throughout his career, Dr. Valent stayed committed to research and teaching medical student, he has held various academic positions at Semmelweis University. He became an Assistant Professor in 1997, and in 2004, Dr. Valent achieved a significant milestone in his academic journey by attaining his Ph.D. from the School of Ph.D. Studies at Semmelweis University. His dissertation, titled "Role of tetrahydrobiopterin in the regulation of NO synthase of human placenta and its chemical stabilization by ascorbate," earned him the highest distinction, "summa cum laude." He became an Adjunct Professor in 2005 and eventually an Associate Professor in 2009. In 2016, he earned a habilitation in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Semmelweis University.
Dr. Valent cherishes international relations in medicine, as it is evidenced by his fellowships as well. He participated in a corresponding research fellowship for Ph.D. graduation at Semmelweis University and a TEMPUS fellowship at the University Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium in 1998. Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Dr. Valent obtained his Master of Health Management (M.Sc.) in 2013 from the Health Services Management Training Centre of Semmelweis University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Valent has taken on leadership roles, including serving as the Medical Director General at the General Directorate of Medical Affairs, Financing, and Quality Assurance at Semmelweis University from 2014 to 2018. Currently, as the Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he continues to contribute significantly to the institution's overall mission and vision. In addition to his clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Valent has achieved recognition for his forensic expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology, accredited by the Ministry of Justice, Hungary, in 2011. Furthermore, he holds an expert-level certificate from the Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, obtained in 2003.
