Travel
Insurance and travel requirements
You are advised to take out your own insurance to cover personal possessions, travel and cancellation as the Congress does not protect individuals against cancellation of bookings or theft or damage to belongings. ISUOG regrets it cannot accept cancellation requests for individual travel interruption caused by strikes or natural causes. It is the delegates’ own responsibility to check and fulfil any visa requirements for entry into Hungary (and for any other countries attendees stop at on the way to Hungary), and for return travel to their home country, ahead of the event.

Exhibitor/sponsor registration and badge collection
Important information

There will be no access to the Congress without a badge:

Exhibitor badges: These allow holders to the Exhibition and any relevant meeting room/hospitality suite of their company, but not to scientific sessions

Industry scientific badges: These allow holders to all areas of the Congress, including scientific sessions. These do not include ISUOG membership. We understand industry partner staff may need to attend main-program scientific sessions. Industry scientific badges are for this purpose

Each exhibitor/sponsor badge (of any type) must be allocated to an individual person via the exhibitor portal (via the company representative/administrator) prior to the Congress

Badges will be available for onsite collection from the registration area. In order to collect a badge, the name / email or QR code of the badge holder must be given/displayed/scanned

If an exhibitor badge-holder wishes to self-print their own badge (of any type) they can proceed directly to the ‘delegate badge collection’ self-printing points to do so. Should you choose to collect the exhibitor badges as a group (the named company representative/administrator must be present), you will need to provide the names of all exhibitor badge holders and make arrangements to distribute the badges before entry to the exhibition; you will only be able to collect in bulk those exhibitor badges that have not already been printed by individual members/badge-holders of your group. Exhibitor stand badges cannot be re-printed, so please ensure you keep your badge safe and displayed during the whole event. Exhibitor badges, whether collected/printed individually or as a group, will only display the exhibitor company name and not the name of the individual assigned the badge. Priority access to the registration help desks for group (bulk) collection of exhibitor badges by the company representative: Saturday 14 September, 12:00-17:00

Industry scientific badge-holders must use these self-printing collection points to print their badges individually and can only be collected/printed individually by the named delegate (no bulk collection). All individuals on your company badge list will have been sent unique QR codes allowing them to self-print their own badge, if they choose to do so

Please note that any additional hostesses/staff working on your symposium, within your hospitality suite or on your stand must have a valid exhibitor badge, which must be purchased in advance and allocated to their name

From 14 September onwards, the onsite fees will apply for all badge purchases with strictly no exceptions

Should you have any internet-based feature/activity at your stand/Hospitality Suite/Meeting Room, we strongly recommend ordering a dedicated internet connect to guarantee a high-quality service. Please submit your request for internet connection in advance to HUNGEXPO. Kindly specify what kind of internet-based activities are planned and how much bandwidth will be required.
