'Can a pregnant woman get vaccinated?', 'Can breastmilk transmit the coronavirus/ antibodies'? and 'Are #COVID19Vaccines associated with #preterm birth?'
The Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong along with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology asked the public to submit their questions related to COVID19 & pregnancy. Questions included topics such as vaccination during pregnancy, the COVID-19 association with pre-eclampsia, the types of vaccine available for pregnant women, timing of each dose, ingredients and more.
An expert panel including Obstetrician - Gynecologists Prof. Liona Poon and Prof. Christoph Lees and Vaccinologist Prof Beate Kampmann recorded their answers to the questions which you can see below.
