The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) is delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Holloway as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Wendy leads a committed and passionate team at ISUOG and has worked with the Society for over 15 years. Wendy is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in driving operational efficiency, delivering large-scale international events including the Society's own International World Congress, and leading teams and organisations through periods of significant transition and growth.
Under Wendy’s leadership, ISUOG will continue to advance its strategic goals for research and education to improve women’s health worldwide. ISUOG remains steadfast in its mission to provide high-quality education, including supporting clinicians in lower-resource settings. United with international experts, ISUOG is committed to making women’s healthcare more equitable and inclusive, ensuring that mothers, babies, and their families across the world receive the highest standard of care.
Together with the ISUOG volunteers and staff, Wendy will drive impactful initiatives that improve women's health through the advancement and dissemination of high-quality education, clinical standards and research in ultrasound for obstetrics and gynecology. ISUOG is recognised globally for its contributions, including its leading peer-reviewed Journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology (UOG), extensive educational resources including its online ISUOG Academy and education courses, plus its flagship event—the ISUOG World Congress, which unites health professionals worldwide to share best practices in the field.
Wendy’s skills include process optimisation, strategic planning, and team leadership, with a focus on ensuring long-term success. Renowned for fostering strong, high-performing teams, managing complex projects, and maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset. Wendy is internationally experienced, with a deep understanding of global markets from living and working in Singapore, Australia, the USA, and the UK.
